Casio MTG “🤯” £3200!

Hello Watch friends 🙏🏼

Today whilst briefly shopping for kids outdoor shoes I stopped to look at these #casio MT-G I was amazed at the price that’s what got me to go in

£3200!

I looked at this and compared it to my Tudor FXD

Very similar in price, but in terms of EVERYTHING ELSE I wasn’t impressed, they were lightweight, a little rattly and cheap feeling, I know the “Casio aficionado’s” out there will have their ten pence but at £3200 they are not for me, someone explain it to me?

In the next window was this

Yes the materials are different but not £3000 different!

Head well and truly blown! #wruw more like #wruNOTw!!

Thank you Ben

I know Casio does MRG and MTG at in a high end, hand made studio in Japan. So there’s that?

And I believe they’ve developed some high end form of titanium with greater hardness and shine than most other companies can accomplish (ie. Tudor! Grade 2?!) The Casio Ti is also used by Japan’s space program.

But … I hear you, I’ve been tempted a few times to get a pricey gshock … but I haven’t been tempted enough to buy one yet.

Like all watches, it’s subjective.

I’m sure most people here think I’m insane for buying and loving my ~ $5K Black Seiko diver. For me, it’s way better than a Tudor! Any I suppose it’s comparable somewhat to a high end gshock ?

More accurate (spring drive), best lume of any watch, better material (Grade 5 zaratsu DLC Titanium), very light and comfy (100gm with band) 🥰

All that said - I hope to buy a Tudor someday! … when they make one with a date function in grade 5 Ti 🙂

Your Seiko is worth the price because of the unique mechanism, the history of Seiko and Spring Drive is rich and honorable.

Tudor is a great watch and company at all, cause they provide mechanisms for many other solid watch brands: Brietling, Norqain.

But a digital Casio… for this price… There is no sense.
