Most, if not all, motorbikes of not that long ago had no clock. My friends and I would often buy a cheap waterproof Casio, take off the straps and Velcro to the dash.

the springs can break on them without even using them...they simply wear out with age...the repair kit is $16.99 USD...2023 prices???...it used to be like 6 bucks
