Which Hamilton to choose?🥺

I really enjoy my khaki field mechanical (white dial) and the 38mm is just perfect for my small wrist. If you were me, would you love to pick up another Hamy and which one would you like?

I have the Murph 42 and it's simple but lovely.

Neither.

Get the Benrus Type DTU-2A/P! 😜

Love its simple dial. Simply a strap monster🔥

I had mine supplied on a brown leather strap, and it looks great.

Murph all the way! But then again, it’s hard to go wrong with any Hamilton.

Interesting 😎 but I wish the domed crystal can be sapphire

Very nice! I would prefer a brown leather strap to the original black crocodile too

Meh, acrylic is a MUCH better option, especially for a field watch.

Less reflective, doesn't smudge, easier to clean fluids off, and with Polywatch, the crystal looks new after a few seconds of scrubbing/wiping. YMMV.

It just softens it a little.

Never kept a Hamilton, the lack of AR coating really ruins them for me 😭

I'm quite old with rapidly declining eyesight,so need all the legibility I can get.

·

As a Nolan's films fan, I'll go with Murph 38

·

While price can be a bit oddly high, have to vote on the 38 Murph! Just a great looking piece!

I have owned the HKFA 38 and Murph - value for money, the field auto wins. Regardless I would swap out the bracelet / strap with something from Uncle. They are both great watches, but you get more bang for your buck with the field auto, and though the dial is busier, the glossy black / embossed track is really beautiful.

Difficult choices😖

Shameless plug but if anyone is looking for a bronze one then mine is currently up for sale on eBay - less than 24 hours to go 😉

·

KFA all day long.

·

My choice is always the mechanical… I’m not crazy about the Murphs hands and I don’t want a date.

·

If you have a small wrist, the murph 38 will sit comfortably! I find the khaki field watches with a lug-to-lug of 47 is just a little too much

·

Tough call…I would go with the Murph

I think bulova has a similar one for half the price. I just can’t pay half a grand for a bog-standard field watch

Agreed. Granted MSRP isn't that bad with the sale plus a id.me discount if applicable.

I love my Murph 42. Simple, elegant, and love the subtle movie reference on the second hand.

·

I’m tempted by the Murph a real classic looking watch, I have the khaki titanium and I love it.

·

Tough choice ! I bought both !

·

Honestly if the khaki king was on this list I’d have chosen it. But Murph in its absence.

·

I would pick a white khaki or pilot pioneer. Gorgeous watches. From your list here the bronze, easy
