Finally! A worthy affordable alternative to JLC Reverso? - Vario Versa Review

Of course, nothing can truly replace the real thing. In my case, the JLC Reverso is still my grail watch, and I will always be amazed by the Reverso.

But, sometimes, what we realistically need is an affordable alternative. Thus, the Vario Versa.

However, I understand that many people have doubts about the watch's odd thickness. I also wish it could be thinner. Otherwise, I would say this is not a bad alternative :)

I hope you are very successful. However, the summary you wrote isn’t convincing me to watch the video. It says nothing positive about the Vario. It seems like a missed opportunity to connect with fans of Vario, especially those who see the Versa as the culmination of their collecting goals.

Great review of what appears and looks like an awesome affordable alternative to a JLC or a Cartier. Got a sub out of me and look forward to watching more content.

Have you looked at Fredrique Constant Carree or Baume & Mercier Hampton square dress watches? They are interesting and compelling pieces IMO and worth checking out as more affordable Swiss options. The FC is less than 10mm thick - and I have it coming in this week actually.

Great video, beautiful photography; but I also wish you put a bit more in your WC write-up. I have two Verso’s and one JLC. Yes the Verso’s are a bit thick and the flip feature is very different than the JLC - namely, you need to take them off your wrist. And, of course, they are quartz. Yet for their comfort, finish, dial design and straps, they’re great.

Of course, the the JLC is in a class by itself:

So, not really a competition, but both are excellent choices; in my collection! Thanks for your post and video.
