Artem Straps Review

I tried keeping my review on this as honest as I can. And offered some valuable feedback to Artem as well. Have you guys watch this? https://youtu.be/cb5Aw4AEq7w

I purchased the $96 sailcloth for my CW C65. It's look own a new watch. I have a Zuludiver sailcloth on another watch. While I do like the Zuludiver, the Artem sailcloth beats it looks and feel. Only complaint is shipping. Because I live in US and regular shipping instead of express(which was expensive), I waited almost 3 weeks for it to show. Shipping is the only thing keeping me for buying more of their straps. Great review

That's unfortunate on the shipping. Nevertheless, nice pairing there!

Good review! I think you nailed well the pros and cons of each strap. You have a new subscriber 😉

As you have a small wrist (mine is 16cm), when it comes to NATO straps, I recommend you esprit-nato.com. They are shorter than the anglo-saxon offers (27cm instead of 28 or 29) and it makes quite a big difference.

Check the Select-Heure collection, as it's the best quality:

https://www.esprit-nato.com/en/241-select-heure-nato-watch-straps

Some of them (not all unfortunately) are for 18, 29 and 21mm width.

I also know some makers that do it bespoke, but only in leather or rubber.

Artem got that 🔥, totally brought my watches up to the next level.

Sailcloth is so underutilized on watches imo, it really helps straddle the line between sporty and casual dress unlike any other type. These look great (esp. the olive green, very unique but versatile for many types of watches), for $200 though I'd only want to invest in one for a nicer watch (as you said)

I had a band shipped to USA express and was here rt away. Ordered delivered deployment clasps on 12/26. They just left Whittier. I assume its California. Should used express. Love the quality.

Australian strap on an Australian watch.

I also have a cheap-ass sailcloth from Etsy. Is the Artem worth $100+ more? Not sure, but it's certainly a much, much better strap.

Paying extra for that quick release is iffy. If I'm buying a premium watch strap, I sort of expect it to have certain features at that price point.

Great video. Also loved the review of the hamilton intramatic chrono

Very concise

This is my personal experience with Artem Sails cloth. First, their lengths are weird. 66 mm for the short side? The holes punched are limited. Smaller wrists will find fitting difficulties. The material is not soft like regular sails cloth or leather. The padding is quite stiff and cannot contour to the wrist well. The buckle would be better if it follows/hugs the strap. I also did not like the price bump for $85 to $96 for 19mm straps? There are no short version of the strap in 19 mm. I bought and returned all 3 straps that bought.
