There has been a lot of good advice/answers here. So I’ll just add to it. Many of the so called in-house movements are just adapted versions of an ETA movement. The problem is in the whole ordeal about what is or should be considered in-house, but that’s another story. So I say that to say that when it comes to the movement itself there is rare innovation out there so what you are getting is mostly upgraded materials in some of the components, mainly the ones you are seeing through the glass back.
There is some really good sources to dive into this subject a lot more. I recommend listening to the wrist cheese radio podcast, they have an episode covering this and also Teddy Baldassarre has a video on his you tube channel covering this.
