How much? 🏋️

Ever wonder the weight of a solid gold watch?Thought I’d see how much the AP Royal Oak Chrono in rose gold weighs… the AP reference 26320OR has the solid gold case back and weighs close to 270grams… that’s a solid watch😁

Pic above is missing one link - total weigh would be 267grams fully linked 🤯

I know some don’t like heavy watches but I personally like to fee a watch on my wrist😎

I've always liked watches with heft. Each attempt to read the time becomes a bicep (or tricep?) curl.

Never understood the appeal of an RM that weighs 50grams…

Ah, the scale that measures to 0.01g, v useful to people who can afford a Gold AP LOL. This is only a joke 😄

+1. Watches need to feel substantial. It's part of the presence and why I've never been interested in materials that reduce weight. 150g > 75g.

Metric 😠. That's 9.42 ounces, or .59 lb. At least it's gold. I wouldn't suffer that for anything beyond precious metal. I fail to understand the people that enjoy an unbalanced burden encumbering them. It's like enjoying a hangover.

Is it you?

That’s a solid piece of gold, that is absolutely amazing and is the meaning of a heavy hitter.

That is one chunky monkey!

I also prefer a little heft, but that's too much

It's a chunky monkey and the flex should be worth it. But its also a nice downpayment on land.

Thank you🙏

That's quite heavy, even for a solid gold watch on a bracelet. Good to know they didn't cheap out on the material 😉

Do they also come in platinum?

I’ve not seen a chrono in platinum - I know they do some other Royal Oak models in Platinum but don’t think they do the chrono… they don’t Royal Oak Offshore Chrono in gold and that weighs around 340grams🤯

Now that’s some serious wrist presence 2️⃣6️⃣3️⃣ is a solid piece😀 @anonymouswatchcollector
