Something for the Wife
While debating between the Cartier Tank and its different options for myself, I asked my wife what would interest her.
I had reserved the santos dumont, the tank Louis Cartier and a rose gold santos. All options were rejected by her. When we just couldn’t find something, right as we were leaving the boutique she chanced upon this Black Ceramic Santos Large. She fell in love with the watch.
The AD actually tried to convince her out of it, but she tried it on and he was amazed as well. It has such a sporty look on her. (I also get to benefit as it has a quick adjustment).
Early on in our marriage I learned to bring her to the shop rather than surprise her. Sure enough after 14 years I’ve learned to be stunned by her choice. I love her choice: understated, sporty, versatile and she won’t worry about scratching.
