Has anyone else been to the TAG Heuer Aquaracer website? It's super cool; the watch moves to the current timezone and your time. This would be so cool to leave on my desktop as my clock ๐
I've been looking for a GMT that's not a Rolex nor a Tudor nor a Grand Seiko and I've boiled down to a few amazing ones. IWC's line is super cool but starting to hit pricing that can get you a GMT Master II. The Tag on the other hand, pricing that is so value for money.
What do you think?

The only thing I don't like about that watch is the cyclops on the date, which is why I prefer the 40mm Aquaracer over the larger version.
I think itโs a fantastic watch that is executed nicely.
I think Tag Aquaracers are extremely underrated and are high up on my list for my first โluxuryโ watch.
Honestly idk why but I donโt love the looks of the blue and white bezel. But I do like aquaracers in general, really good quality and design.

I believe that people criticize them for the movements.
Iโm a Tudor fan boy but if u donโt want that go look at the Sport Zulu Time

Take a look at the New Strat-o-timer-GMT from Jack Mason. Itโs a true GMT with a bidirectional bezel and itโs only $999 compare to the $3k+ for the Tag.
Tags new aquaracer designs hits so many things correctly . I would also suggest a left field option in RW freelancer.

You probably know this already, but unlike Rolex, the cyclops is under the crystal, so you get the magnification but not the bubble on top. Not sure what part of the cyclops you don't like, but if it's just the protrusion, this one doesn't have it.

I wasn't aware of that, but it's the look that bothers me the most.
I think Tag has done a great job with the Aquaracer line, and will likely some day own one.
Tag does have some cool stuff but I like some of their vintage stuff better. Just picked up a night diver. Someone up above mentioned a longines zulu time and Iโd probably go with that but if this watch speaks to you get it! I think itโs pretty sharp looming. Got to do what your gut tells you in this hobby and not what others think
I have the black one, very nice watch actually. That said, I think I paid a bit too much, same build/quality can be had for much less (without the TAG brand). But what do I know, just buy if you like it
I finally checked it out, very cool. I have a red Aquaracer and I love it, grab and go quartz! For a lower in the line lever watch it is very well made. The crown action is first class.
Also have an Aquagraph which is based on the Aquaracer.

Thanks for this, totally agree it's so nice!
