My watch collection

Hello everybody, this is my very first post. I have shared my watch collection as I really enjoy watching other people watches and I figure you like too. So this is my collection in no particular order.

  1. Raketa Copernicus, no idea if it is original or a Frankenstein watch, it looked too clean for its age but it is a great difference small watch. The favorite of my girlfriend.

    2. Christopher Ward Ombre Cosc, it was my first expensive watch ever, a very difficult decision to part with so much money for a watch at this time. An amazing diver a bit on the larger size for me on 42mm.

    3. My Seiko SSA231, the first mechanical watch that I have ever bought. I was always wearing watches, but usually from fashion brands. My Gant watch that I wore for 2 years broke to pieces and I needed a new one. I found this in Amazon for only 200 pounds and I bought it. I think it was a mistake from the seller as the very next day the price changed to 300 pounds. This was my beginning in the obsession.

4.My vintage Tissot Ballade, this watch is from the 80s and it used to belong to my Father. He bought it on a plane as he wanted to distract himself because he was afraid of flying. Funny enough he bought with money he won from a slot machine during his trip.

5. Grand Seiko SBGA413, What can I say it is one of the most beautiful watches I have ever seen and a grail of mine for a long time. The movement, the dial the finishing, the story of the case, it is amazing. The bracelet could have been better 😜

6. Yema Rallygraf, it was a present form my girlfriend and I love it. It gives me some Bretling vibes with this strap and I am wearing much more than I was expecting. I very cool watch!

7. Maurice Lacroix Aicon 42 Automatic, I wanted to ride the hype train of AP and that is why I selected the Aicon. There are times that I do not like it, but then I wear it outside and I see the beautiful blue dial and the amazing finishing. I have compared it with the Tissot PRX and in my personal opinion the difference in the price is reflected in the difference in quality. I would rather have the 39 version though, but it hadn't been released when I bought it.

8. Casio OAK, we keep riding the AP hype train here. Even though it is not readable at all I wear it all the time when I work out. A very cool g shock that everybody loves.

9. Vostok, I bought it as I was fascinated with the story of the brand and I kept it because I find it extremely cool. Especially this model which is not too loud, I find myself picking it all the time from the watch box.

10. Mr Jones A perfectly useless afternoon, one more gift from my girlfriend. I love the different dial and I have been working too hard for 3 years now and it is a nice reminder to have a break once and while.

That is it, I think that I have too many watches (for me) but we will see how it goes.
Please let me know what you think and lets keep this amazing watch comunity alive.

Very nice collection! Have fun!

Grand Seiko:

  • Grail watch
  • Amazing movement
  • Bracelet sucks

I guess we're really all in the same boat arent we? Obviously no on the fly adjustments, lucky if you have micro adjustments at all, little to no taper to make the watch wear extra chunky. I know the feeling.

Exactly!

GS is fighting all the suggestions for their bracelets, they will crack sooner than later 😅🤣😂

Thanks :)
There was a great sale during November, around 20% on everything if I am not mistaken. I think that is why everything is sold out. Sooner or later they will restock their best sellers.
It is a very nice and fun watch! I wouldn't recomend the lether strap that I have, it is a bit cheap and I will swap soon.

Welcome! The raketa looks great. I don’t know enough of the watch to be able to judge whats 100% original and what’s not but I love the look of it. Enjoy😁

Groan...I didn't learn about the whole company until December.  Ok; well, I'm stalking the site.  I reeeeaaaallly want the Tiger watch, and they say it will be back soon...but they aren't running a WL on it, so grrrr 😕  Good advice about the strap; I'l have a NATO standing by
