Wondering about Rado

I am about to get a gift: A Rado watch

I wanna ask all the WC some questions about it.

  • If you like Rados, why do you like them

  • What makes Rado special?

  • What are your 2 favorite collections

  • What do you think about Golden Horse and Coupole classic

  • Which watch of them would you recommend me

You do not need to answer every question! If you wanna give me some more advice, let me know in comments!

Thank you Crunchers

The ceramic divers are Rad..O. See what I did there?!? All jokes aside I’ve considered the blacked out skeleton diver on rubber a few times.

I have respect for Rado from what I have heard from other collectors but there not my cup of tea in design

Do you know which model will you be getting?

Nope, not yet. But I am looking forward to

Golden Horse, Captain Cook or DiaStar

To watch snobs:

Golden Horse = You are too poor (or have no "relationship" with your AD) to buy a DateJust

Captain Cook = You are too poor (or have no "relationship" with your AD) to buy a Submariner (I know it looks closer to the Fifty Fathoms, but Blanc...what??? It's not a Rolex. 😜)

DiaStar = The 70s, were so, ermmmm, 70s.

To everyone else (99.9% of the population) - Nice watch.

Honestly, no one gives a tinkers.

The Golden Horse and Captain Cook look good on any wrist in any outfit. The look of the DiaStar is a bit subjective, but it will also look good in most situations. Even if you don't love the brand, you will love what you get because it was a gift for the person who gave it to you. It's a gift of considerable expense, so you must be special to the person giving it to you.

I’m a fan of the Captain Cook.

They are famous for their ceramic and other non-traditional materials.

They are real luxury watches in Asia.
