Poljot watch

I've recently bought a very old Poljot watch in antique for no very high price. Watch is mechnical but I bought it because I love the style.

The problem is second hand is stopping at 39-44 seconds.

You know what could be problem? Can it be fixed?

If there's nothing physically stopping it going round on the dial, dirt, debris, loose indices and given its age I personally think it needs a service/stripdown as probably something is jamming the internals. Trouble is on watches like that the repair bill will probably be more than the watch is worth. That is the problem with old watches like this. It could be an easy fix, ie service and clean or could be needing parts which could be difficult on these. If you know a good watch repairer they will help or maybe have a go yourself it would be a good learning curve and if you only paid a few € if it goes wrong you've not lost a fortune and gained some knowledge. Good luck with it.
