Smaller, slenderer, thinner integrated sport watch concept

Continuing with the integrated bracelet sport watches, here is a render of a concept that is on the smaller side - 36 mm diameter and only 8mm thick. Compare to 40mm Sprinter chronograph in the second image.

Something for a slender wrist, maybe even something a lady would consider wearing. The idea was to design something that wouldn't be out of place neither at a tennis court nor a fancy dinner out. Was I able to achieve this?... well, that's for you to judge watchcrunchers😉

The 3 hand concept is very well done.

The three hand watch looks very nice. It needs a date, please. ChrWard already screwed me with the smaller 12 which has no SW300 and date option...

·

What movement would you put in it? And, don't put a date complication in it.

·

Not sure how that would look on a tennis court... But I think either one of those would look great on my wrist.

Looks so sick! Love the grey dial! Id wear that 36mm :) reminds me of the yema urban traveler a bit, but i like this more

That is lovely! How much and when can we get one?

Thanks! Which date position you prefer 6 or 3?

That's a good question! I don't really know. It would have to be something rally thin as the watch is just 8mm thick. I definitely would want an automatic movement in it. Something with a micro rotor would work nicely, but I don't know of any mass produced micro rotor movements...

Compromise of a manual wound or quarts is an option, but neither sound that great to me.

Thanks, but I am not really into watch manufacturing business. Just like watches and like doodling in Blender on my spare time sometimes..

But if you know any microbrand that would want to take this on, let me know. I'll share the design (or all my designs) for free.

As for the price, I don't really like anything that is above $3K. So I would want something within what CF charges for their watches normally. But if San Martin wants to "borrow" this design and make a good $200-$300 offering, I wouldn't mind that either.😉

There's a Chinese micro rotor movement getting some good reviews. Though I'm not sure about their production capacity.

Nothing wrong with a hand wound movement. But, you can keep it without a date and still probably get an automatic movement into it. The Miyota 9039 is a no date 3 hand movement that's only 3.9 mm thick.

You should search around for someone to partner with, that's a great design.

For that design I think 6 works much better (and I say that as someone who usually prefers the date at 3). The two long markers at 3 and 9 look better together and the date under the text blends in nicely.
