Actually, I've modeled and rendered this a while back and posted on reddit. Got mixed reactions there. Rolex enthusiasts can be brutal over there and don't mince words. What do you think?

I think the Rolex guys at Reddit are probably correct in their assessment.
I'd like to see them do something in the realm of high horology. Not expecting it and they don't need to. I'm okay with their usual MO of incremental changes
I'm not a fan but I could totally see that 1908 tourbillon in the catalog. However, I don't think this new model was particularly well received so they might not want to double down on another 1908 release back to back.
Would it be a fake tourbillon, like the 1908's chatons? 😂
My 100% prediction from rolex every year. 😁
I think you've done a great job and would happily grovel to my AD to be considered for a possible inclusion on an expression of interest list.
Good renders!
But the second one looks a bit too much like the Omega tourbillon, tbh, for me to expect Rolex to do it. Then again, Rolex loves saying they were first when they were anything but 😁
Has Rolex ever ventured into high horology? I doubt they would unless they need to prove something. And judging by their inability to keep models in stock, they don’t need to right now.
Cool little exercise and well done rendering but I doubt we’ll see either. The 1908 could possibly get an annual calendar complication but I don’t see that happening this soon. Maybe two or three years from now. We might see a “Coke” bezel on their GMT and some variation on their dials. I say this because change at Rolex is glacial.
Way too cool and unique for a Rolex rollout 😄

Yeah, I completely agree. Was just having a little fun. There is absolutely no way Rolex would do something like this.
