Marathon Service - Help Needed

I know it’s niche, but does anyone in the Twin Cities (Mpls/StP) area know a good place to get a Marathon serviced? Been to a few stores in my area which don’t work on the brand - I have a slipping hour hand on my ‘00 Navigator that’s been keeping it in the box for too long… thanks!

You could submit a service request to Marathon, and they'll give you a quote and a place to send it, if you want. Might as well check.

Do the watchmakers give a reason they won’t repair the hand? Are they worried about the lume? Does Marathon withhold parts?

I second @Dallen 👍

Marathon service is 100% the best option. Probably the best customer service I’ve ever dealt with, not just in the watch space. They’re quick, personable, and reasonably priced.

A few are not ADs and would thus wouldn’t source the parts on my behalf. Seems like an easy fix for them, but I guess they’re loyal to who they represent… probably will just use Marathon’s service dept.

I've used Marathon's service dept twice, and both times were excellent. You'll have to email the service dept, and Joe at Marathon will get back to you with options and estimates.

If you accept, you'll ship the Watch to an address in Buffalo, NY. Marathon will take care of shipping it to their facilities in Ontario and back. From what I understand, they only cross the border once a week, so there may be some delays going and coming back.

The prices are reasonable and the service is excellent. Good luck
