My First Seiko

This is the Seiko Kinetic 5M42-0B09. I first got this watch in like '99 or something like that. I had a gold variant as well. I don't have either anymore, but these quartz watches were a stepping stone to mechanical watches for me. I have since bought another and resold it again.

  • Thank you for your replyI got ride if mine becausethe kinetics have to be worn pretty much consistently to stay charged. I just didn't want to wear it that much and found myself constantly having to charge it by just sort of shaking. These things take a long time to build up to a full charge as well. I love the look of the SNK's the non-hacking is a deal-breaker for me though.
