Calling all Watch Crunchers … HELP!

I’m on the hunt to track down the first “adult” watch my parents bought me back in the late 80s. It was a ladies (or youth) sized Timex Ironman.

I LOVED this watch and wore it everywhere, but at some point this watch disappeared. Its not the fanciest of watches, but it meant something to me and I would really love to add one of these back into my collection.

Any ideas on where I could find one other than checking eBay? (found this picture online from an old eBay post)

You could set a Google alert for the watch with the words 'for sale', 'selling', etc. Or even just an eBay one.

The alerts are emailed or pushed to you (daily in eBay), but you can set the frequency on Google.

You could even post 'ISO' (In Search Of, for those unaware) posts on other watch forums, craigslist or other classified ad sites.

Sorry that maybe this wasn't the specific info you wanted, but I hope it's helpful. Childhood & parental memories are priceless.

Also, @Candide3693 may be able to direct you better. He has an extensive collection in the underappreciated digital milieu.

Close but not exact. I think these were later models. Mine was from the late 80s.

Yeah, these all seem to be from 1990-1992. I can find women's models from the late '80s in other colors, or these pink ones from the early '90s, but not the pink from the late '80s. I have checked all my usual sites: ebay, mercari, bonanza, watchuseek, etc. without any luck. Sorry.😪

I appreciate your help! I’ve never heard of these other sites. I knew there had to be places other than eBay to check too. Thanks!
