Crazy cool!
Crazy cool!
Fun fact: the guy who voiced Charlie in the old Sunkist ads was also the first voice actor for the Jolly Green Giant. How cool would it be to have voiced two of the most iconic ad characters ever?

Gold, and a fish? You don't see that every day!

You've posted this one before and I still don't understand why this watch is in 14k. I suppose it was a corporate thing for people working in the white tower? Or perhaps bribe material for salesmen at the time?

The watch is gold plated , the bracelet is 14k gold. It was on eBay and I haggled back and forth over the price for a couple weeks. Ended up paying 25.00 with shipping. When I received it, I immediately noticed the bracelet looked like gold upon inspection it was indeed marked 14k so I took it to my jeweler and he verified it was solid gold. I circled back with the seller to tell him it was gold and to see if I could send him more money or if he wanted it back. The guy said I was stupid and that he was done dealing with me…… I tried, sometimes you get lucky. I’ve had a couple of these watches and I can assure they didn’t come stock with a 14k gold bracelet 😀

Wow! What a story! You performed your honesty due diligence (hats off to you for that) and he rejected it, so his loss. Sounds like he was less than polite for whatever reason. People are funny.
Nice score! 👍
