Yeah, he did say this. I believe it was in an article with Tom Ford's Rules for Wearing Watches...if you can believe such a list exists. He did talk about how the strap on one of his watches could be used that way. It wasn't this overpriced watch, I believe it was a different overpriced Tom Ford watch that had that strap.

IIRC he was a designer for luxury leather goods maker Gucci except he did menswear? Pretty sure he's a Hollywood hobnobbing pervert. I just lump him in with several names that constantly get kudos from basic people despite never producing anything that is imaginative or even particularly good. Inexplicable.
