Zannetti Regent Sky Chronograph Review

In my small and humble YouTube channel I was blessed with being able to have hands on with some truly amazing watches fairly early on brands like Zenith, Breitling, and Franck Muller; however, one that caught my eye is a little known brand I have never heard of before…Zanetti. Zanetti is an Italian brand and their watch proudly read “made in Rome” where one is used to seeing “swiss made”. Zanetti is a small brand specializing in small batch orders with incredible hand made details such as case engraving or hand painted dials.

What I was looking at was part of their regent sky like but it was actual a 1 of 1 piece unique as usually the regent sky is time only and not a chronograph. The bracelet was supportive yet soft made with some of the thickest red leather straps I have ever seen, of course also made in Italy. The case polishing was sharp as a tax but the main feature here was of course the dial. It was beautifully enamel painted stars and planets 🪐. Something you would expect to see on a much costlier watch this watch was right around 7000 if my mind serves me correct. But this was not the most unique part of this dial. The white base was also extremely eye catching and vivid. This white base was actually Wooly mammoth tusk. Wait what!?!? I’m not sure if someone broke into the Smithsonian museum, jumped in a Time Machine, or bartered a trade with Fred Flinstone but somehow Zanetti got their hands on Wooly mammoth tusk. All of a sudden even meteorites or precious stones did not feel so special. Years later this watch is still in my head. You can actually find some of their non chronograph regent sky’s used for around 3,000 US dollars. A fair price for such a unique watch with such a unique dial If you ask me.

I am not a journalist reviewer as YouTube is my main platform but I hope some of you guys enjoyed this and I hope you consider subscribing to my small channel. I have a great base of enthusiasts behind me so far and would love for you to come for the ride

Saw your post the other day,and I think I did guess right(only a guess mind you, lucky one). I did look for your channel, but couldn't find it for some reason. So I'm glad I now know what it's made of, very intriguing, interesting and a bit unique. Nice watch, but to be honest not much into the artwork on the dial, bit too much if you get my drift, sorry. But a nice watch all the same,so thanks for showing it on here, I'm sure some folks will love it.

Good guess! It’s definitely not a look for everyone and that’s probably why despite still being in my head all this time later I still haven’t actually added it to my collection. As I have evolved in this hobby I definitely drift more sports watches and watches with more timeless and classic looks
