This is a review bit of an actual watch but of Artems sailcloth straps that supposed to be as good or better than most OEM options. I picked up a few of these but specially wanted to put on one to my Longines Hydroconquest and it really improved the look of the watch for me. I love the Hydroconquest It was my first real watch, but I have had it for 10 years so I was beginning to get a bit used to it. Not bored per say but I wasn’t as excited to wear it as some of my other watches. Additionally I could never seem to get a perfect fit. My weight fluctuates alot sometimes like 25+ lbs so whenever I would return to my Longines I had to remove or add a link. This strap solved that issue for me and just ended up looking great with the black dial and aluminum bezel. The stitching on the strap is very crisp and the actual sailcloth martial feels great. Soft yet sturdy. On the underside is a leather bottom covered by rubber so the straps are waterproof which was an absolute must have as well.
This strap came with the optional quick release spring bars. If I have this option it is something I will always go with. I am not aware of any downsides of quick release spring bars? And it just makes life so much easier. What really brings this strap and watch all together to a higher level is the very cleaver and nicely done deployment clasp. The overall look, feel, detailing, and quality was very impressive. This watches new home is definitely on the strap.
The strap, spring bars, and deploying all together came out to 214 which is not cheap by many standards but if Blancpain or Zenith made this strap to the same specifications it would probably cost closer to 1k.
Please check out the video so you can let me know what you think about my longines on this strap and what your thoughts on the actual straps are as well.

Works perfectly on my PRS-25 Smiths . Absolutely suits it 100%
I have several Artems. Good quality and comfortable. I particularly like those with contrast stitching and wish they offered more stitching colour options. Overall though straps I recommend.
I finally bought one last week and still waiting for it to arrive. I got for my Speedmaster and also hoping to fit nicely with my seamaster if I like it so much I’ll get another one !!

Looks great and cool watch. I have tried to order a smiths a couple times to no avail.

The contrast stitching does look really good. I ordered one black strap with white stitching I’m going to be putting on something else and I might order another for my vintage night diver but it’s like a mm off I dunno if it will fit

Nice! I actually put my seamaster on one of their natos and I like it a lot. Return back and let me know how you like your strap once you get it
Nice watch, nice strap, looks great together.

Does it feel like a rubber strap? or more like a fabric strap?
