Why I Chose Panerai Over Grand Seiko
So far when building my collection I have only bought one watch per brand in my watch box. I have limited resources and will own limited amounts of watches especially what is consider luxury watches. Two brands I did not own yet were Panerai and Grand Seiko. These are two brands that I have been able to see in person and check out. I was flip flopping back and forth but ultimately I settled for Panerai and I am happy with my decision

You buy a Panerai for the aesthetic and I can’t fault you here. They’re some of the most recognizable on the planet and nothing can replace the feel of one on wrist. There is no BETTER… only better FOR YOU.

Agree on panerai over GS if you can only have one. GS has some of the most beautiful dials - but ultimately the type of watch that it is can be fulfilled with several other brands that do the case and bracelet better (Primarily Rolex). A Pam00111 on the other hand is about $6k if you can find one - and I would have it in my collection even if I were a billionaire with all the pateks and FPJs I wanted. There is no substitute
Very well said. Right now Panerai luminor Marina, Rolex Op 41 , and an omega seamaster are the big three standouts of my collection the papers I is definitely very much it’s own thing like you said no substitutes
Nice video, and I'm genuinely happy for Panerai fans because it's a very specific aesthetic not copied by others and unlike other certain luxury brands, getting the Watches you want is usually not an ordeal as long as you have the money.

Thank you! Videos take a lot of time and effort so i appreciate it. Definitely agree with you. That GS looks great on your wrist! Haha just grabbed a pic and threw it in wasn’t singling you out lol. And believe me I will be buying a Grand Seiko for sure just wanted to get a Panerai first. A did a hands on review of this but the bamboo dial and it was so cool but I love all these models

Thank you. This watch looks great. You have an awesome collection and I think this would fit in great. It’s super high quality but it’s fine so uniquely it’s such a differnt wear than anything else from the dial to case shape to winding the one of a kind crown.
