NWD 2024

First and possibly only purchase of 2024. Finally picked this up! Been eyeing it up for a while now and finally pulled the trigger. First day wearing it out. Love it so far!

Certinas are absolutely great

I’m considering a 38mm. What size is that?

I got the 38mm. It fits perfectly on my wrist. The 43mm would have been too big IMO

Yes 43mm would be too big for me as well.

Congrats mate! 👍🏻

Nothing will get me anywhere near a Powermatic 80 again but I hope yours actually works 🙏🏻

·

I like the look. I was looking at the Titanium version of these but never pulled the trigger

Oh boy. The few days I had it and played around haven’t noticed anything weird. Fingers crossed I guess 🤞🏼

Both Certina I have are great? I like them a lot to be honest, never had any issues, can't say nothing about service as they're less than a year old, but so far I'm really happy with them.

Great watch, build to last. The bracelet has room for improvement but otherwise, a very enjoyable experience.

Certina is very prominent in Scandinavia, and respected among divers (even though serious divers tend to use other equipment than watches, to my understanding).

I agree, the bracelet is nothing spectacular. But it gets the job done. At some point I might buy a rubber strap or NATO to add some variation.

I have several watches with the powermatic 80 , none have given a problem and they keep accurate time.

Why do you see as the problem?

I don’t SEE it as a problem, I HAD many.

It could be due to the complete incompetence by Tissot, but I needed to send in my PRX five (!) times. I got fed up and now I’m getting my money back.

The watch was away longer than on my wrist… hands misaligned, rotor spun while handwinding. Just the worst mechanical experience ever

That’s a quality value for money Swiss timepiece. 👏 classic Sub looks.

Only purchase you need! I can’t keep mine off my wrist it’s my new favorite watch 🍻

Love the blue dial. I would have gone for the blue if I didn’t already have a blue diver 😂. But so far love the look and feel of it overall! 🍻
