Godtier Goodness!! (GWB5600BP)
Finally got my hands on a godtier watch! Been looking around at what G-Shock I'd be interested in owning. I didn't want to get more than one of these, as my interest is mainly in collecting mechanicals, but I did want at least one.
The first requirement was that it had some sort of heritage or story behind it, and what better range than the original 5600 models! Rich history and a huge variety of models to look at.
Secondly, I didn't want it to be super traditional, iconic, all-black. But also not over the top colourful as some G-Shocks can be! A happy middle ground was their 'Paisley Collection'! A touch of blue, unique designs, but at its core still a gritty, godtier, beast of a watch that'll last ages! Oh, and it's Tough Solar as well, which is a nice bonus!

Bitten by the watch bug last year, but it's been one hell of a journey so far! Built spreadsheets, visited watch stores, taken so many notes, and collected a few along the way which tickled my fancy!

Yep absolutely love it! Didn't want anything too colourful, so this fit the bill nicely! Strangely enough, living in NZ, it was much cheaper to buy it from a retailer in Europe and ship it over, than it was to buy it here.... go figure! 🙄
