Silver Tool-y Goodness!

I got to spend a lot of time with the @malmwatches Commander, as a loaner was sent over for review. The result was over 130 video clips and 45+ minutes of footage widdled down to 8.5 minutes. Check out some of that b-roll featured throughout the review video.

Do you know what the red and green lines on this dial represent? Hint: it has something to do with the nautical theme throughout this watch, originally designed with members of the Swedish Navy to celebrate their 500 Year Anniversary!

Beautiful watch!

Nice watch. Not sure I could bring myself to pay €640,95 for it though, not with the NH35A as its engine.

It's tough, for sure, but everything else is done so nicely. And at the end of the day, the NH35 is a solid movement. I think the NH fatigue as of late gets in the way of the value.

I agree 100%, it is a great workhorse of a movement. I'm just used to paying €150 maximum for watches that use it.

Very nice. I'm guessing the colors represent port and starboard running lights with the second hand as the masthead light or stern light?

Yes, port and starboard lights. And if you look at the whole dial, they spread 112.5 degrees, just like the requirement! I don't think the seconds hand has a nautical tie-in, but I could be wrong. I feel like the 12 index resembles an inverted Danforth anchor too. But that's just me...

This watch is right up my alley. I was a Navigation Chief and Quartermaster in my younger days👌
