NAMICA Watches' 2nd Release: OKAMI
Japanese microbrand NAMICA Watches is releasing their second collection this Tuesday, February 6th at 8am EST. There are over 1700 people following the launch of this Kickstarter campaign, hoping to get their hands (wrist!) on this new titanium sport watch. If NAMICA's popularity of their first release, the Shirahama Classic diver, is any sign of what's to come, this is sure to be one of those "funded in minutes" Kickstarter watches.
I spent a couple of weeks with the Neo Tokyo and Kurayami variants and was quite dazzled with each. I love the lightness of the titanium, but the presence that you get when adding a touch of weight with their wonderful FKM strap--you can feel that you're wearing a watch, but zero wrist fatigue. And the brushed metallic fumé dial of the Neo Tokyo is phenomenal. You can check out more of my thoughts and all the specs in my full review video.

Their first release was the Shirahama Classic, a diver. I've got a review of that one too. They also did a purple variant then too, which started the Neo Tokyo line. Husband and wife team from Japan. Great designs!
