I just acquired a vintage omega constellation 18k solid gold. I need a watch strap that would look good with it. Any recommendations? Thanks

That's a great looking dial. I've always though that black pairs well against yellow gold, so if that watch was in my collection, I think I'd pair it with a nice black alligator strap.
Nice vintage piece? Do you know roughly the period it comes from?
What @tempus said, agree and would go either traditional black or if you're crazy enough, paint the town red. But I would make sure the buckle is gold to match.

That's a beautiful piece, very classy 👌🎩!
That looks to be Ref. 168.019 circa 1967-1970. It is powered by Cal. 751.
The OP can confirm 😉.
Great watch ⌚🙌!
I have a family member, and used a buttery soft (stamped) horween shell cordovan...it is hands down the most comfortable, easy on my wrist, watch in my collection. Congrats on your beauty.

Is this also full 18k omega?

I think it’s in the 70s.

I am thinking of getting red leather strap on it. That would be interesting with gold buckle.

Excellent choice and very smart purchase! That is a wonderful looking piece with great detail on the applied markers, the black hands and the cross hatched patern on the dial 🤩.
The solid gold case is a great way to go, precious metal well always be in style 😉👌💯🥂.

Thank you! Only precious metal I have is this Rolex daydate with diamond dials and this omega constellation .

Yeah it’s difficult to find a great strap. So many choices! So many colors. Hopefully I’ll find one soon
