Casio LTP-V007L-7B2 Review
Gather round fellow watch enthusiast and let me tell you a story about my casio tank. As an amateur watch enthusiast im hungry for watch content, usually at night before i go to sleep i watch many youtube watch channel. Someday i found out abot cartier tank, wow thats a fine looking watch i think. Blue hands, Roman dial, and beautiful square case.
In my journey of watch collecting i intend to keep just six watch collection (6 slot from my watchbox). a diver, a dresswatch (already have), a flieger, a field watch, a chronograph (didnt buy it yet), and a quartz (in this case a g shock).
While im watching Cartier tank content, my finger accidentally searching for more affordable alternative in some random online shop. As i scrolling randomly, somehow i found this little piece of gem.
Hey what is this? Nobody talking about it from Youtube. Apparently its a 20 bucks lady quartz square watch from casio, 🤔🤔 this is interesting. At this point i didnt need another dress watch as i already have an Orient Bambino v3. Nah, i think it would'nt be wise to buy more dress watch and then i go to sleep.
Next morning i wake up and check my phone and i already buy this Casio 🤧. What the f, apparently im sleepwalking (in this case sleepclicking) and accidentally bought the watch. And yeah what the hell. Its a wrong size to (its a lady size). Casio had a men version (bigger size) but i dont like the dial on it (MTP-V007L).
Its a small watch 34x22mm. As far as design i really think its beautiful, beautiful square case, nice sunburst effect, cool Roman dial although it looks like a Cartier dial.
Case quality feel okay for 20 bucks, it made from brass with chrome coated i think (no clear explanation on this). Caseback made from stainless steel with brushed finishing on it
Leather strap made from faux alligator leather with tang buckle and push pin. Upper strap with 14mm wide, lower strap with 12mm wide. I changed it immediately to custom genuine leather strap with upper and lower 14mm to make it look bigger.
Movement is a Casio Quartz with 3 year battery life as in the ad.
when i showed it to some of my friends they told me i look like an a-hole with ladies watch😂. So what do you think about this Casio? is it an affordable alternative to Cartier Tank despite the size? Thanks for read this review

For only 10€ I bought a very similar Casio. It looks more like the Tank than yours. unfortunately I don't have picture of it. Just a little description : more small, the rectangular case and the lugs looks like the Cartier Tank, there are simple indexes (not Roman numerals).

its too small, but there are bigger variant like i mentioned. But it has different dial

This is not my photo, it's a picture from google but mine is the same model with a similar black (fake) leather strap. After really compared yours and mine, yours is probably more like the Cartier Tank thanks to the roman numerals. For me this watch is perfect to go to work. It's very discreet.

your "friends" who called it a lady watch...they don't seem to be cultured or refined - are they those who wear watches bigger than their fists? please unfriend them.
all these gender stereotyping of watches is really silly, especially when men's watches used to be about 30-35mm in the past, or even smaller. i have a vintage cartier tank louis (23X30mm) and love it absolutely.
