New strap for my Rotary
Have you ever bought a strap which doesnt feel right? well i did. last time i bought a custom leather strap which look like a casa fagliano style strap for my rotary cambridge. when it came it doesnt feel right as my instruction to the strap maker. the colour is too pale and yellow, the other thing is the folded part is too long. it is interesting how wrong strap made the experience terrible.
so a few month later i try to contact another strapmaker with different leather, and specific instruction on the folded part (i took the old strap for reference) and voila, now it does feels right. the strap colour is pop, and the folded part looks right. how many strap that you bought and doesnt spark joy? anyway thats all, cheers🍺

yes, the new buckle feels sturdy. the old one not so much, buckle feels flimsy

i think so too. feels cheap and the buckle is terrible, and its more expensive. how crazy

The one on the left looks like the Aliexpress version of the one on the right.
May I enquire who made the second strap? I think an Introduction to someone who does work like this would be welcomed on this forum. I know it's certainly a service I'd be interested in using.
Lovely choice and the change in strap better suits the casual nature of that dial, which looks great with the applied blue numerals. Hope its comfy to wear as well!

sure no problem, i vouch for them. its hnmd.co indonesian based strapmaker. from what i know they shipped worldwide. just type hnmd.co on instagram to see their work. i got a few strap from them and i think quality is great. btw i paid 25usd for this strap which isnt expensive
