Watch Meet-Up

Saturday's Bristol watch meet was pretty cool.  It's not every day you get to handle or try on everything from a Seiko Rowing Blazers to an MB&F MAD1 red.

Landon from Horage came across from Switzerland with the new Lensman 1 Tourbillion and the Supersede.  He did a 20 minute presentation on Horage and swiss watchmaking. The Lensman, to me, is an exercise in what they can achieve, whereas the Supersede makes for an awesome daily wearer.

Pietro from ThelimitedEdition also came.  He sells and champions small Independents like Horage, Armin Strom, Kudoke, HYT, Czapek, Garrick etc.  He brought an amazing array of watches.  All of which, he was happy to let people handle.

The 80 or so collectors, also brought watch rolls with some of their own collections ranging from vintage pocket watches to modern AD purchased watches plus a few little surprises like a 70's Bulova Spaceview.

It was great to see some watches that you'd never see 'in the wild'.
