Anyone for a game of conkers?

The Brits on here will know what it means to dangle a conker (horse chestnut) on a string and hope your opponent doesn't smash your knuckles with theirs. A popular school-ground game in Autumn (fall) here in the UK.

BTW, the watch is from 1970.  A Seiko Speed-Timer 6139-6031, known as a 'Coke' pogue.  First Automatic Chronograph.

Amazing watch. We also played similar game in Russia. Though instead of knuckles there were bullets and you hoped to survive 😂. Kidding knuckles they were.

We played it in New England in the USA in the 60's.

If you won you were a King 1 and if you survived the next challenge a King 2..and so on.

We used shoelaces.

Okay Morgan.  Challenge accepted. See you at the Redbar meet in Bristol next month👍🏻. But I have a Seiko Tuna I can string up as a backup 😉 (just to warn you)

It was a knuckle knocker on occasion.
