Call me crazy but I have never been into the AP Royal Oak or the Patek Nautilus. I can understand what they mean to the culture but ME I would pick a Grand Seiko dial any day over those two. That said I only seen both watches but never held them or try them on so it can be my poor taste that can't see the bigger picture. SO if this Nivada Grenchen cost 700 or less I would dabble and maybe it changes my mind on the AP ?
In the before covid times, you used to be able to walk into a coffee shop near some of the schools here in town and sit next to a table of students, all of whom would be wearing Royal Oaks, while looking out at their double-parked Ferraris. I don't know what they wear now, maybe 5711s...
How is that any better than other homages, except for being a re-issue of a 70's homage? I think that Nivada has awesome unique designs and should not dilute their brand with this pastiche.

That Nivada is way more interesting.
Students? What are they studying, How to Iluminati 101?

Looks awesome! I would seriously consider it.
But, then again, I think if I were to go for a 70's style integrated blah-blah, I might go for this instead.
Only issue I have with the Atelier Wen is the Chinese movement. If they had a Miyota, no question I would pull the trigger.

Nope.
I think Nivada Grenchen should stick to reissues of Nivada original designs.

The mind boggles at rich kids these days 🤯
Me, I'm ambivalent about the case but that dial. Hoo boy, gimme that dial. Now that is an awesome dial, it's making me hungry for a plate of this!
