If someone will wear them. They are quality watches. They are not an investment or anything, but if they are enjoyed the cost should be a couple of hundred at worst.

Thank you. how hard is it to find a case for them ?

Women's watches are getting melted down for there metal content and so there is a surplus of movements (same for pocket watches). Your local watchmaker may know where to find some.

Those are beautiful movements. I’d probably just display them as they are.

Ticking cufflinks! 😁

Cufflinks are a good idea. I’d probably put them in a magnifier box.

Earrings maybe?

I like the box idea

No problem, just use them as nose rings.

The movement is only half of the watch.  If you love the case, fix the watch.  Alone, it would be a waste of money to fix a movement that has no watch.

Look at these movement. Absolutely beautiful! I think you should get them serviced.

This got me thinking. How about getting a custom wooden box with a glass display top and have both movement placed into it with dials and hands and all? Make it into a dual time “watchbox”? A wooden box that tells time. Will be so cool. Here‘s a rough drawing. Sorry for the crude sketch.

The platform that holds the watches can be lifted up and you can show off the movements.

Here are two rough mock ups in my head with some mirror, wood, magnifying feature and maybe use an old clock movement as a housing

Looks great man. Can't wait to see the end product.

I’m sure they are quality movements, but I’d only service them if you plan to case them up or want to make one of those cool ‘watch boxes’ others described in this thread.

Thank you for the feedback. Have not decided.

Both are great movements -- although my preference is the GP, the Omega is probably a better choice for actual wearing, only because the movement is shock-protected.
