Anybody have a watch that you own but you will never wear? Here's mine. Elgin trench watch, completely original and untouched including strap and personalization. I'll be donating this to a museum when I pass on.

I never wear my Dad's childhood Nivada watch, but I treasure it greatly. I suspect others would feel similarly about watches they think of as heirlooms or as having sentimental value.
That trench watch is a very cool piece, definitely an heirloom to be preserved, not worn.
Very cool piece.
I have a few sentimental pieces that I never wear, plus several "quirky" watches that I purchased simply because of something I found unique or interesting about them. I will wear some of those occasionally, but they aren't in my collection to wear as much as they are in the collection simply because I think they're kind of interesting.
Do you know anything about the original owner? Obviously from La Junta Colorado, right?
I have a moonswatch, never wear it. Scratched too easy.
That one: A Cross quartz chrono I received as a gift sometime around 2000.
It's 38mm in diameter and more than 60mm tall due to a semi rigid bracelet. This is basically a manacle fitted with a time counter.
It’s cool, but it’s also a shame to not wear from time to time. You could preserve the strap and have it on something a bit more rugged and modern, unless of course it doesn’t keep time that well?
