Crazy Casio's Continued...

A while ago I did a post on my findings of various Casio's for sale on Ebay and the wild complications that they did in 80's and 90's, back in the days where technology was more primitive and people needed map wheels on their wrists, apparently....

Well I'm back with more!

Here's one that my wife described as like 'a Minion that's been run over' also known as the Casio TSX 1300, another wrist mounted radiant thermo scanner, which judging by the 'snow' option and the sporty appearance, was probably for skiing and snowboarding?? Your guess is as good as mine.

Closely followed by the Casio MP3 player, so 00's it hurts. Can't imagine how many songs it would hold or the actual practicality of having earphones connected to your wrist by a cable like a tangled puppet, but again, revolutionary in its time.

Followed lastly by my favourite, the Casio DF-10, known as the THE TRAIN.

The time is displayed by a simple small screen behind the trains face.

Nobody knows why, apparently this one is somewhat of a holy grail for collectors, real rocking horse sh*t. What does this watch say about you? Apart from 'I like trains'

Anyone curious to see these and many more the seller is 'impatientpatient' https://www.ebay.co.uk/str/impatientpatient

They specialise in the rare, mad, NOS relics from Casio, Seiko and Ricoh, but they're not cheap!

Let me know what you think!

Working on the Railway in the UK it would have to be the Train one for me!

I love the ‘Minion’ that would be a great name for the watch 😂
