Interesting new G-Shock model on the way

To some of you, that title may be a bit of an oxymoron, as not everybody likes G-Shocks, and that's ok.

I'm a bit late to the party as this news came out about a week ago...

But those that do like a G-Shock might be interested in this new model coming soon, the GD-B500, a longer stretched shape that Casio say will be the thinnest G-Shock ever.

They are hardly reinventing the wheel, but it's nice to see a shape which is slightly different.

Some people are also miffed at the lack of MIP display in the newer models.

So those of you who find the normal chunky resin too much, might find these more of a viable prospect.

What do you think of the design?

Sadly for me, it's lost the classic G-shock shape. I know there are others besides the classic "Square", but they don't appeal to me as much.

However, I think they might grow on me. That lime green is poisonous. If they make an analogue variation of this one, I might not resist...

Agree, it does look like a regular Casio digital, but not a G-shock. If only it has an MIP
