The time has come. Since recently I've let go an old Seamaster 300M and Oris 65, I'm in a search for a blue dial watch. I have some picks in my mind (look at the poll) but maybe you'll have some better ones?
My requirements are:
> blue/navy blue dial/ice blue is ok too
> 36-40mm
> max L2L: 46/47mm
> automatic
> price around 1500 €/1600 $
> new or used, but in a good shape.
> preferred on a bracelet.
Looking forward to your choices :)
Not sure if this stretches the budget too much but I like the Longines Spirit 37mm
Christopher Ward! That's what I would wear. Hope you find that one in the bunch that tugs on you just a little bit more than the others lol
Cheers!
Maybe it's just me but I feel as though Ball is the most impressive brand here. That'd be my choice of these.
I picked the NOMOS
I like the Doxa style the most, however not in this color way.
The Ball is a well-built watch, however it doesn't do it for me.
The Christopher Ward would probably be my second choice, great value!
I chose the NOMOS because the design is very "NOMOS", it can be used in a variety of scenarios and you can get the bracelet for it later. You are also getting a very well-built watch. Also have personal preference, but I like robust watches that are more formal (dress) in their design (like a SARB033).
EDIT: I am very biased, however, look into getting a used Lorier Neptune in Blue! They no longer make it in blue but it's a great watch
I love Doxa but the 200sub while not a bad watch isn’t made up to the standard of other Doxas.
of the watches noted above the Nomos is best made and the CW is most interesting IMO.

I liked this one so much I got one for myself. Check out the review on here that @Matt84 graciously took the time to post as well.
