The Unofficial Guide to Vintage Timex Watches

I haven't been that active on this site lately, but when I was in my manic phase I posted a lot. During those times, due to my love of Timex and my username, many reached out to me thinking I knew something about the watches. The truth is, I know nothing except what I like and that they were connected with a sentimental value since I wore them when I was a kid and my Dad and Grandfather always wore a Timex. Having said that, I was always disappointed when I couldn't help several users who sent me messages looking for information about movements, models, year made, etc. While I do know a little, I really am a newbie. I recently saw this site, which has a very in depth article that will help a lot of Vintage Timex fans. Check it out. Here are the answers many were asking. Have a good day!

My dad was a Rolex guy his whole life (he only ever had 1, but that was his solo whole life watch) and sadly it did not transfer to me.

But it’s nice you can share a connection to Dad and grandpa via watches and timex is nice affordable way to indulge

I’ve always had a timex and have about 25 different types in my collection some being the very first compass watch they ever made and the later ones that have time, temp, compass, tide.
