Happy Ash Wednesday!
Today is Ash Wednesday, the beginning of Lent for Catholics, or as my girlfriend calls it: The 40 Day Challenge. It's a period of fasting and abstinence for those observing. For myself, I'll be abstaining from double wristing and wearing only my Casio Pathfinder during Lent.
Any other Catholic Crunchers doing something similar?

Not a Catholic but gave up chocolate for Lent last year. I then discovered Jelly Belly jelly beans can work well as a replacement!!

My wife and I had an almost dry January and it went well, so I’ll be doing a dry Lent and a no-corn-chips Lent. I was pleasantly surprised to see how many people were at 8 AM Mass today for ashes.
