I'm split between case shape/design and dial. Don't care about the movement, don't care about the brand or heritage or whatever marketing bs. I'm all about that look. 👌

I'm there with you. If a beautiful watch with good dimensions comes with a nice movement, then great, but if not, there is a big chance that I still buy it. Sometimes I get stuck on the idea that I need to fill certain buckets when buying watches, but then I go back to basics and look for a dial that blows my mind.
Dial and then movement (b/c reliability and service costs etc.) but of course all influenced to some degree by price. But I try not to think about price for my first reaction even if its crazy stupid expensive . . . I like to, in theory, look at a watch for what it is first regardless of if I ever buy it or if I could ever hope to buy it. And then i'll get excited or sad or start making a plan . . .
It’s a package deal for me. The dial is what gets me interested in a watch. After that I look at brand, heritage/history, then wearability. I determine if/how it fits into my collection and if that all works out I look into how long it takes me to save up to buy.

The dial gets my attention but the price usually makes the final decision.
Whichever watch that gives me an edge over other enemy watch-channels.
All above
A combination of dial and case size, because if I love the dial but it’s like 45mm I’m gone

Definitely plays a big part on the decision 👌

E. None of the above
