Breitling Aerospace EVO production ending?

I have been determined to add a Bretling Aerospace EVO to my collection for a while now. I am still saving up after purchasing my MRG-B5000B last year but I am sure it will fit nicely in my watchbox between my other quartz and digital watches.

I am not sure if this watch is already out of production and if it will have a successor? I randomly stopped by one of the Breitling stores last week here in The Netherlands and they were really surprised with me asking if I could see the watch. "That watch is not for sale anymore...". Well according to your Breilting website it is 😉

It turns out one of the ADs here has both the blue and the black version in stock right now, as well as the black one with a canvas strap.

Does anybody here know what will happen with this watch? Will the current version be taken out of production? Will we get a new model?

I can't find info on this and Breitling store employees won't tell, or they don't know either 😂

I am just curious if I should consider allready buying it while I still have the chance.

Thanks!

I have no idea what will happen, but my opinion is it will absolutely be replaced with a new model. The Aerospace has been a staple in the Prodessional line up for decades now. I dot. Think they can ignore it.

My father has an older two tone rouleaux bracelet style one and just had it completely refurbished at Nreitling so they do support service still

Which is a good sign.

I think given the pricing of watches these days too, it’s an easy win for them to offer a lower priced option.

I personally want an Avantage as that’s the Goldilocks size for me. The current model

Looks awesome, but a hair big for me and what I want.

If you like this model, I’d jump on it, but not in fear of it going away. Even if they bring out a new model, this one is going away. They are available on the gray or second hand market too if you are okay with that.

The new Aerospace is equiped with another calibre. Instead of the "Monopusher"-Handling (with a built in Minute-Repeater @ the E79 Calibre) they use now the EB70-Calibre with 3 pushers. I guess that the Minute-Repeater is gone... 😢

Look at that beauty I want to buy one so bad but they are out of stock and nobody knows what will happen it is a disaster

Get it while you can unless it will be a financial strain. Don’t go into debt for a watch

Got my eyes on a possible new release as well. Something about an ‘Orbiter’ version?

I'm going through the same struggle. I think you can still get the black dial version online, but the blue dial has been impossible to find. I've been to several boutiques and ADs and no one has it. When I asked, a few said there should be a new release soon, the rest weren't sure.

Wow I absolutely love this new design! Especially the part around the new pushers is nice, although I can imagine that current owners of an Aerospace will be disappointed with the loss of the multifunctional crown. I think from the side it looks quite similar to the design of the crownguards of the Chronomat 40, a design I really appreciate.

Funny that my love for watches basically started after reading The Greatest Adventure by Piccard and Jones. I was still in high school and quickly discovered that a Breitling Emergency was not quite in reach considering my budget was dictated by the number of papers I delivered 😅

Fratello recommends the documentary on Youtube but I can also recommend this book!
