BB58 bracelet breaks!

Picked up my BB58 from the bedside table yesterday and the bracelet came apart. A pin connecting two links had come loose and fallen out (found it on the floor). If that had happened sea swimming, then the watch would quite probably be lost. Disappointing from any watch brand and underscores the value of a NATO strap.

Pretty scary. A good reminder to periodically check your screws.

Screws are good for convenience but they have many drawbacks.

Pin and collar on the other hand are a pain to work with but more secure in the long run.

The trick is to make sure you have the right fit, then use Loctite to keep the screws in place

The screws on mine were quite difficult to remove to adjust the bracelet. I think they add a small amount of Loctite to each screw at the factory.

I was actually trying to figure out if Tudor was known to use loctite or not. One of my screws was hard to unscrew as well and it got a little scratched up in the process. Any idea where I can source some oem Tudor screws?
