From marketing I rember seeing Rolex when ever golf was on. I got into watches and learned about the wimbledon datejust, thats my immediate though when I seen this post
When my unwashed buddies were young and uneducated we could not understand the Rolex advertising which seemed to imply wearing a Rolex could develop our tennis abilities to match Rocket Rod Laver. Years later we now understand that you need to be somebody as famous as the Rocket to buy a Rolex.
