Let me know your thoughts on this time piece designed by Gerald Genta and loved by the late Japanese Pm Shinzo Abe.

Is it undeapprecaited and underrated compared to other GG designs ?

This is one of my favorite Omegas and a piece I want to absolutely add to my collection at some point.

To answer your question, yes it is underrated compared to other GG designs. Actually, I think most people don’t even know GG was the first to design a C-shape watch for said Constellation. But among Omega enthusiasts c-shape Connies get a lot of love, though maybe not as much as pied-pan Connies.

If you like the watch go for it. You’re definitely purchasing a piece of horology history in my opinion.

I bought it about 16 years ago in Rotterdam.

I really like my omega constellation.

Very elegant. A lot of the design DNA persisted into 70s Omegas. E.g. Very similar dial and hands can be found on bargain basement Genèves.

The UG Polerouter is the only decent design Genta ever did.

Love this piece and design, nothing beats a nice cushion case 🤝

I am actively looking for one. Form what I've read and viewed online, the 564 movement is very robust and will according to specs once serviced.

Not the same ref but I love mine
