Is it worth it

Hi all Yema lovers

I’m being offered this model for $400 exactly.

The crown doesn’t lock 💯 %.

It’s a fullset.

Is it worth it ?always wanted to own a Yema and Sinn

If the crown doesn’t lock properly, I’ll bet that’ll drive you nuts in short order. Hang on to your money, save and get a better one.

Could it not be fixed for maybe $100 or less in your opinion ?

I’ve held out for a while on Yema until this price came along which I felt was well worth it.You don’t think so ?

But why buy a watch that needs to be fixed?

Depends on how you plan to use it. If you are looking for a dive watch to take to the beach, in the pool, or for some snorkeling...I think I'd pass. Broken locking mechanism means that it was likely mishandled or hit hard which means the gaskets could also be damaged.

If you are just desk diving and everything is in working order that is a pretty nice discount if there aren't any serious scratches to the case, bracelet or crystal.

Nope.

Run away. Yema have awful customer service in my experience. I'd not have another Yema, too many better alternatives.
