Careful, things can get heated around the Apple Watch
In theory most G-shocks are better for most purposes, especially value wise, but all these fail at the basic thing the Apple watch does for many; a phone free music experience while running or training, while offering detailed reporting. The Instinct is an awesome watch, but doesn’t have music capabilities, but Garmin’s arguably better watch, which has onboard music, is the Fenix, but it is $900. They also have a few others with music like the Forerunner, but are not necessarily as feature rich.
No way!!! I’m buying this…and I don’t care what your video say!

So the issue is the terminology.
I'm wearing an Instinct as I type, but the UI is trash compared to Apple.
