I absolutely must know what time I need to panic for my next whatever, but it really helps my anxiety when what’s telling me that time is aesthetically to my choosing.
So really, I probably should have voted D. A little of column A, a little column C.
Quartz or auto, I just love having a tiny physical machine on my wrist and can marvel at it throughout the day. That and I kind of have the same need to know the time and have it be delivered in a format that speaks to my taste.
Definitely A, but also to time how long I’ve been at a customer’s so I know what to charge them. Even if I’m neither with a customer nor have a need to know the time, I feel naked without one on my wrist.
Apart from telling the time (a lot easier than digging out your phone from your pocket), I also feel that a watch is part of my everyday wear be it to work, home, outdoors, etc. I kinda feel something is missing from my attire if you forget to wear a watch.
It's like my horcrux (but in a not so evil context). I'd like to think it holds a fragment of me long after I'm gone, but only possible if I wear it daily
Not the fanciest of collections. Just an amateur enthusiast, with a little interest in some things EDC as well. And tennis. And F1. And nature. And science.
