Who’s ready to change their watches again.

DST is coming up and if you have more then 4 quartz watches you know the feeling.

If you have a mechanical watch without a watch winder you set it every other day but DST is a real pain in the rear.

I have 30 watches so there’s that 85% autos the rest Quartz

I just set mine when I wear them.

DST is not coming up, it’s ending.

Yeah, Standard Time comes into effect this coming Sunday here in Kanuckistan.

Time for this foolishness of adjusting the time forward in March and backward in November, to end. Either leave it on Standard ... or on Daylight Savings and have it done with. Or, happy medium; adjust ahead 1/2 hr. in March and THEN leave it alone!!

Rant off ...

I think it took about ten minutes last time. I hack one watch with seconds at 12 o'clock and minutes at the next minute, then try to set another one to a minute ahead of that while waiting for the reference time. Digital is quicker, if not easier.

Yes, the whole system is evil and needs to be done away with. I want to throttle the defenders of this and their stupid excuses. It was supposed to be a temporary war rationing thing, then it was kept because NY traders realized they got an extra hour of dealing with London, and now it's just pea-brains that like being drunk outside in daylight when the clock says it's 8:30 at night.

Anyway, were one not persnickety about hacking to the second, this charade would take a few seconds per watch, but synchronization is the only benefit of the whole affair.

No - I’m willing leave them at the wrong time until spring comes again… or until people stop ranting about DST, whichever comes quicker.

We don’t have DST where I’m from so this is a very interesting problem 😂
