Late wifes G shock got destroyed , Need advice

I'm planning on buying another G shock just like this and putting the parts of her watch onto the new one, such as case back, straps anything I can salvage off her one, my big question to anyone with any knowledge, is how difficult would it be to put the new movement into her one. 

I would greatly appreciate any reply into this heart breaking situation.
