Question on mechanical movements

What is the average time from when you get a brand new mechanical movement to the time it needs service.

I also live in a part of the world where when it is hot it is very hot to the point of metal burning hands hot , so would temperature also play a role and in warping the tiny cogs and springs, and drying out the oils.
